On the eastern side of the Indische Buurt lies the Flevopark, which received its concrete shape in 1908. In 1914, one started with the dispossession procedure and as from 1921 money was available to break ground. In 1928, the construction of the park was started.
In the park you can find the Flevopark bath. In the North of the Flevopark lies the Amsterdam bridge with the Schellingwouder bridge as extension, connecting the city with Amsterdam North.
