This weekend the Elle inside Design tour visited numerous of great design location scattered all over Amsterdam.

One of their locations was the home of the young Dutch designer Pepe Heykoop.

Just by looking at the photos, you can see how naturally the artist lives and breathes his work. I emidately fell in love with the home, filled with his tables and stools made of recycled pieces of wood.

Most of Heykoop’s designs are made of salvaged materials which he brings together to create objects that really sparks the imagination. And to add to their story Pepe has placed the production of his designs in Mumbai, India, as part of his collaboration with the Tiny Miracles Foundation aiming to help the local community become self sustainable.

Take a look at his website here: http://pepeheykoop.nl/
