A brand new hotspot recently opened up in Amsterdam West, called “De Hallen.”
De Hallen is home to a hotel, restaurant, TV studio, cinema and library, located in an old tram shed in the Kinker-neigbourhood. It aims to be a new centre for culture, media, fashion and local craftsmanship.
The giant passage, connecting the Ten Katemarkt to the Bilderdijkkade combines industrial touches with a creative vibe, and will be the fourth addition to the Vondel Hotels collection in Amsterdam.
The hotel is part of the redevelopment of a former tram depot and will feature 55 4-star rooms, a restaurant and bar.
Keep an eye out for their activities and special markets, such as the special food Local Goods market.
